Azadi: ZAINAB, Arianna Danae, Sidd
About This Event
ZAINAB's Azadi series, presented regularly at Public Records, stages bills that move between club practice and wider cultural reference points; she approaches programming with a presenter's sense of pacing and favors clarity over spectacle. This edition pairs Arianna Danae with Sidd — a name that recalls Siddhaṃ, the medieval Indic script used by Indian and East Asian Buddhists for mantras and seed syllables — bringing those threads into the club setting.
About Azadi
The Azadi Stadium, opened and also well known as the Aryamehr Stadium, is an all-seater football stadium in Tehran, Iran. The stadium was designed by Abdol Aziz Mirza Farman-Farmaian Architects and Associates (AFFA), with other parts of the sports complex based on plans by American architectural and engineering firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. It currently has a capacity of 78,116 spectators, as a result of conversion to an all-seater stadium.
