The Steel Wheels are an Americana roots and folk‑rock band based in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia; their current lineup—Trent Wagler, Eric Brubaker, Jay Lapp, Kevin Garcia and Jeremy Darrow—have hosted the Red Wing Roots Music Festival since 2012, and their most recent full‑length release is the 2025 eponymous album The Steel Wheels.
