Alphaville's Wild Card Comedy presents Daniel Van Kirk and Jarrett Campbell. Van Kirk is a Los Angeles–based comedian, actor, writer and podcast host whose work crosses stage and audio formats. About Wild Card Comedy
Wild Card Comedy lands at Alphaville with a rotating lineup built around stand-up and loose, room-responsive bits. The current bill includes Jarrett Campbell and Daniel Van Kirk, both known for working close to the grain of the audience rather than above it. In New York’s long tradition of small-room comedy, nights like this keep the form local and provisional, shaped by whoever shows up. Its value is in process: jokes tested in public, then either kept or discarded.
