PALENQUE MONASTERY features a collective of musicians exploring the realms of experimental jazz. The ensemble includes Selendis on vibraphone and trombone, Will Evans on trumpet, Alfredo Colón on alto saxophone, Nathan Nakadegawa-Lee on tenor saxophone and clarinet, Caleb Smith on trombone and piano, Anna Abondolo on upright bass, and Joshua Mathews on drum set. This performance is part of a residency week, emphasizing improvisation and avant-garde techniques, creating a space for innovative sound exploration without the distractions of traditional concert settings.
