Ari Hoenig Quartet

Ari Hoenig is a jazz drummer, composer, and educator known for treating rhythm as a compositional force. In New York City he is a regular presence at Smalls Jazz Club, often appearing with the Ari Hoenig Trio in an intimate setting that puts the band’s interactions in the foreground.

Mike DiRubbo is a New York City–based alto and soprano saxophonist, composer, bandleader, and educator working in the post-bop tradition. He has released ten albums under his own name and is also heard as a sideman with artists including Steve Davis, Mario Pavone, Al Foster, Joe Farnsworth, Jimmy Cobb, and Harold Mabern.
