Sammy Rae & The Friends - the GET DOWN!
About This Event
Sammy Rae & The Friends appear at the Brooklyn Paramount with Melt on the bill. The Brooklyn-based jazz-pop and rock outfit led by Samantha “Sammy Rae” Bowers built its reputation through a live-first approach of tight ensemble playing and quick tonal shifts—carried into the 2024 album Something for Everybody—while Melt brings a rock/pop sound rooted in the early-1990s Japanese underground, emphasizing speed, distortion, abrupt shifts and percussive phrasing.
