About This Event
Block takes its name from a cryptographic concept: a block cipher mode of operation describes how a cipher's single-block operation is repeated to transform larger amounts of data. At The Bitter End the rock/pop project frames its live set around that idea of repeated, modular structures, putting rhythmic and harmonic patterns at the center of the performance.

In cryptography, a block cipher mode of operation is an algorithm that uses a block cipher to provide information security such as confidentiality or authenticity. A block cipher by itself is only suitable for the secure cryptographic transformation of one fixed-length group of bits called a block.
