Cavetown - Running With Scissors Tour
About This Event
Robin Daniel Skinner, known professionally as Cavetown, performs indie rock and pop built around intimate songwriting and steady acoustic guitar arrangements. On the Running With Scissors Tour he brings that approach to the Brooklyn Paramount, leaning on tender ballads and concise pop structures that echo his recorded work and prior performances at venues such as Rough Trade NYC.
About Running With Scissors Tour
Running With Scissors Tour brings a live rock/pop set to Brooklyn Paramount, adding another contemporary stop to the borough’s long line of amplifier-driven nights. Featured performer Cavetown works in a diaristic mode, where soft vocals and tight melodies carry the emotional weight. The show sits between concert and confession, reflecting how younger audiences in New York increasingly treat venues as communal listening rooms. One clear strength is its control of dynamics, letting quiet passages do real narrative work without forcing a spectacle.
