YDV: Rock Band in New York

About YDV

YDV is a Rock/Pop group heard on New York City bills, including Bowery Palace. The band has shared lineups with London-born, Brooklyn-based artist and producer Ary Kumar and with Rumari, as part of the event “Ary Kumar | YDV | Rumari.” Their work sits comfortably alongside indie scenes that pull from South Asian and diaspora pop vocabulary without treating genre as a boundary. Onstage, YDV favors direct songcraft and tight ensemble dynamics over spectacle.
