Wynonna Judd: Folk Musician in New York

About Wynonna Judd

Wynonna Judd is an American country singer who first became widely known in the 1980s as half of the mother-daughter duo The Judds, then built a long solo run anchored by a deep string of No. 1 singles. Her work moves between classic country structures and a more contemporary radio polish, with the voice kept front and center. In New York City, she brings *The Hard Truth Live* to The Bowery Ballroom. Onstage, she tends to favor clarity over spectacle, letting the lyric do the work.
