About Wiring

Wiring is a New York City–based group working across DJ practice and rock/pop, with recordings that move through math rock, lo‑fi indie, and noise rock textures. They’ve appeared on bills at Purgatory and the Knitting Factory, including nights like DOWNSTAIRS: Queer Darkwave Night and mixed-genre showcases such as Finger Foods, Retail Drugs, Star’s Revenge. Past collaborators include DJ TK, Porcelain Vivisection, Clown Syndrome, Uncle Blender, Consumer Culture, and songwriters Grace Givertz, Adelyn Strei, and Hannah Thompson. Their sets favor tight structure over spectacle, letting rhythmic shifts and abrasion do the work.
