Wifeknife: Rock Band in New York

About Wifeknife

Wifeknife is a New York City–based rock/pop group that turns up in the city’s small-room circuit, including sets at Gold Sounds. They’ve shared bills with Lost Children and Other Problems and Gal Fieri, most recently on the lineup titled “Lost Children and Other Problems // Gal Fieri // Wifeknife.” The band works within familiar pop structures but keeps the edges rough, letting arrangement and dynamics do the heavy lifting. Their performances favor direct delivery over spectacle.
