About White Hills

White Hills is a New York City–formed psychedelic rock group founded in 2003 by Dave W. and Ego Sensation. Their sound draws on space rock, krautrock, and noise-rock abrasion, built from long-form riffs and electronic drift. In NYC they have appeared at Berlin and Pianos, sharing bills with acts like Dirtbag Ivy, Hoth, iD.sus, Stereo Mandrax, and producer Martin Bisi, with support from clairaudience. The performances favor volume and forward motion over ornament, keeping the focus on repetition and texture.
