Vince Giordano is a New York–based jazz saxophonist and bandleader, best known for steering the Nighthawks Orchestra through the repertoire and arranging styles of the 1920s and 1930s. His primary voice is the bass saxophone, an instrument he uses to anchor ensembles with a low, muscular line. At Birdland Jazz Club, he appears with Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks in performances that treat vintage jazz as living material rather than museum display. His work is also heard on screen, including period-minded television and film soundtracks such as HBO’s *Boardwalk Empire* and Woody Allen’s *Everyone Says I Love You*.
