Ursa is a rock/pop group working in the heavier margins of post-hardcore, with traces of mathcore and screamo in the writing. In New York City they have appeared at Brooklyn’s Market Hotel, sharing bills with Amulet, Slamwich, Ashes at Last, and If Bullets Could Talk. The band’s approach centers on tight rhythmic shifts, abrupt dynamic turns, and vocals that move between melody and abrasion. Their sets favor structure over banter, treating the room like an extension of the arrangement.
