Tyler Henderson Quartet: Jazz Ensemble in New York

About Tyler Henderson Quartet

The Tyler Henderson Quartet is an emerging jazz group heard on New York City bandstands, including sets at Smalls Jazz Club in Greenwich Village. Led by Tyler Henderson, the ensemble works in the straight-ahead tradition, drawing on the shared vocabulary of small-group improvisation and tight, conversational interplay. Their recorded footprint is still developing, with early streaming metrics pointing to a growing audience. The group’s performances favor clarity over spectacle, letting pacing and ensemble balance do the work.
