Towa Bird is the stage name of Victoria Ilagan Vergara‑Bird, a British singer‑songwriter and guitarist working in the space between rock and pop. After signing with Interscope in 2021, she began releasing music that led from the 2023 single “Wild Heart” to her debut album *American Hero* (2024). She gained wider visibility as an opener on Reneé Rapp’s North American tour, then brought her own bill to New York City at Irving Plaza with Mother Soki. Her performances favor clean guitar lines and direct vocals over spectacle.
