they are gutting a body of water: Rock Band in New York

About they are gutting a body of water

they are gutting a body of water is a rock and pop group whose recordings sit between shoegaze haze, slowcore drag, and noise-rock abrasion. They have brought that approach to New York City rooms like Warsaw, sharing bills connected to events such as Gov Ball After Dark and the Brooklyn Guitar Festival, alongside artists ranging from Deer Tick to Hot Mulligan. The band works with dense guitars and restrained vocals, letting texture and volume changes carry the narrative. Their performances favor momentum over spectacle.
