The Rote: Performing Group in New York

About The Rote

The Rote is a New York–based electronic group heard on bills at Brooklyn Music Kitchen, where their sets are built for close quarters and a clear mix. They have shared lineups with local acts including The Orange Blossoms, The Smugs, and Red Mary, moving between electronic frameworks and a grunge-leaning edge. With an emerging Spotify footprint and a small but growing listener base, the project reads as scene-rooted rather than hype-driven. Their performances favor structure and texture over spectacle.
