About The New York Songwriters CircleW/ Jacob khalil, Jeff jacobs, Cole Clyde, Stephen di Joseph, Hera DeMonchy

The New York Songwriters Circle is a New York City–based performance collective that brings rotating writers and bandleaders into the same room, often at The Bitter End. For this lineup, Jacob Khalil joins Jeff Jacobs, Cole Clyde, Stephen Di Joseph, and Hera DeMonchy, folding jazz vocabulary into a Rock/Pop set built for close listening. The format favors short sets, quick handoffs, and in-the-moment collaboration rather than fixed front-person staging. Their performances tend to prioritize ensemble timing and songcraft over spectacle.
