The Lemonheads: Rock Band in New York

About The Lemonheads

The Lemonheads are a Boston-founded alternative rock band that began in 1986, with Evan Dando as the group’s steady center as lineups shifted over the years. Their catalog moves from early, punk-leaning indie releases to the wider recognition of *It’s a Shame About Ray* and the pop-minded hit profile cemented by their well-known “Mrs. Robinson” cover. After a late-1990s pause and a 2000s return, they continued recording through 2025’s *Love Chant*. In New York City, they bring that tight power-pop craft to rooms like Brooklyn Bowl, favoring direct songs over spectacle.
