The Hellp: Hip-Hop Group in New York

About The Hellp

The Hellp is a group working in the space between hip-hop and R&B, leaning on tight vocal phrasing and beat-driven structure. In New York City, they’ve brought that approach to rooms like Hammerstein Ballroom, including the bill for NYU PB & SGA Presents: V100 J.I.D + The Hellp alongside J.I.D. Their sets keep the focus on rhythm, tone, and pacing rather than stage spectacle, letting arrangement do most of the work. The result feels deliberate and controlled, built for a live mix.
