About The Black Queen
The Black Queen is a Los Angeles–based electronic group founded in 2015 by vocalist Greg Puciato with Joshua Eustis and Steven Alexander on keys, guitar, and programming. Their work draws from darkwave and pop structures, built on sequenced rhythms, layered synth lines, and spare vocals. In New York City they have appeared on mixed bills at LPR (Le Poisson Rouge), alongside acts and themed nights that range from Oranssi Pazuzu and Wayfarer to Y2K Party and One Direction Night. The performances favor control and atmosphere over rock-band spectacle.
