The Bird Calls: Rock Band in New York

About The Bird Calls

The Bird Calls is a New York City–based rock/pop group that works the local club circuit, including bills at Union Pool. They’ve shared stages with Adeline Hotel and Izzy Oram Brown, placing them in the same indie-leaning network of small-room shows and rotating lineups. The band’s approach favors clean arrangements and direct vocals over studio gloss. In a scene that often leans on volume and spectacle, The Bird Calls tend to keep the focus on song structure and timing.
