Terence Tao: Performing Artist in New York

About Terence Tao

Terence Tao is an Australian-American mathematician and UCLA professor whose public talks treat mathematics as a performing art of ideas. He received the Fields Medal in 2006 for contributions spanning partial differential equations, harmonic analysis, combinatorics, and additive number theory, and his work with Ben Green is widely cited in modern number theory. In New York City, he appears at Pioneer Works for “Six Math Essentials,” bringing research-level concepts into a conversational setting. His presentations favor clarity over spectacle, building arguments step by step.
