Taylor Stanley: Dancer in New York

About Taylor Stanley

Taylor Stanley is an American ballet dancer and a principal with New York City Ballet, where his work is closely tied to the company’s stage at Lincoln Center. He has built a repertory shaped by Balanchine and Robbins, moving between classical form and contemporary speed without changing the tone of the line. In performance, he tends toward clean attack and musical precision rather than overt display. His farewell event with New York City Ballet marks a closing chapter in a career identified with New York City’s major ballet venue.
