Takaaki Itoh: Performing Artist in New York

About Takaaki Itoh

Takaaki Itoh is an electronic DJ whose recorded output sits in techno’s spare end—acid, dub, and minimal forms. In New York City he appears at BASEMENT, where he has shared bills with Quelza, ketia, Tommy Hart, and Sevyn. His sets emphasize long-form pacing and technical transitions, built around incremental changes in rhythm rather than abrupt resets. The approach favors structural clarity over spectacle, keeping momentum as the main instrument.
