About Squanderers
Squanderers is a collaborative group working at the seam between rock/pop song form and free-jazz improvisation. The ensemble brings together bassist Kramer with guitarists Wendy Eisenberg and David Grubbs, each known for treating texture, dynamics, and structure as compositional material in real time. In New York City they appear at The Stone at The New School, a room that foregrounds listening and risk. Their music favors inquiry over polish, letting spontaneous decisions shape the set.
