About Solarization

Solarization is a New York City rock/pop group heard in small-room bills where distortion and melody share the same space. They perform at Union Pool and appear on mixed lineups that bridge local scenes and touring cult figures, including Gibby Haynes and the Butthole Surfers orbit. On the August residency night focused on Haynes’s repertoire, Solarization joined Gabriella Arc, Jambly, and Rojava. Their sets favor tight dynamics and clear song structure over spectacle, even when the volume climbs.
