Slacker Pop is a New York City–based electronic group and DJ project heard in club settings such as H0L0. Their sets are built with a programmer’s attention to structure, moving between beat-driven passages and abrupt edits that reset the room’s pace. They have shared bills with artists including John V, most directly through the event series “Slacker Pop presents: John V Variety.” The work favors precision over spectacle, letting transitions and timing do the heavy lifting.
