About SILT TRIO
SILT TRIO is a three-piece group featuring Luke Stewart on bass, Brian Settles on tenor saxophone, and Chad Taylor on drums. Working at the intersection of rock-pop rhythm and jazz language, they build sets from close listening, open forms, and shifts in pulse. In New York City, they appear at The Stone at The New School, a room closely identified with free improvisation and composer-led residencies. Their playing favors collective structure over solo display.
