Silk Fence: Performing Group in New York

About Silk Fence

Silk Fence is a group working in the broad terrain of contemporary art, often presented in performance contexts. In New York City, they appear at Pioneer Works, a venue that regularly hosts cross-disciplinary sets and long-form collaborations. Their recent billing alongside Horse Lords and Jules Reidy places them in a scene where composition, texture, and process are treated as primary materials. Their work tends to favor structure over spectacle, letting accumulated detail do the dramatic work.
