About Shinedown

Shinedown is a Jacksonville, Florida rock band formed in 2001 around vocalist Brent Smith, later settling into a long-running lineup with drummer Barry Kerch, guitarist Zach Myers, and bassist Eric Bass. Over seven studio albums and ongoing work on an eighth, the group has maintained a direct, radio-tested blend of hard rock and pop structure. Their live history includes bills with Coheed and Cambria and arena-scale sets built around vocal drive and tight dynamics. In the New York–area circuit, they bring that approach to the Prudential Center for “Shinedown: Dance, Kid, Dance Act II.”
