    About Salsa Na'ma

    Salsa Na’ma is a New York City DJ collective that builds nights around the handoff between live salsa and club-oriented sets. At Union Pool, the group has presented bills that place Lulada Club—an all-women salsa orchestra led by vocalist and director Andrea Chavarro—alongside DJs Tahleim, Woof, and Chiquita Brujita. Their programming treats the orchestra as the anchor and uses the DJ booth to shift tempo and texture without breaking the thread. The approach favors continuity over spectacle.
