Rosewood is a New York City–based group working at the seam between Hip-Hop/R&B and rock/pop, with recent bills at Brooklyn Music Kitchen and Mercury Lounge. They have shared lineups with Gray Danger and Lucy Bright, and have headlined shows supported by Madden Novogratz and Sunday Static. In performance, the band leans on tight rhythmic structure and clear hooks, letting shifts in texture do the work rather than stage spectacle. Their footprint is still small on streaming, but the live circuit has begun to define the project.
