Rose of the World is a New York City–based rock/pop artist who performs at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, a room with a long history of indie rock, punk, and experimental bills. Their recent appearances place them in a local network that includes Afternoon Bike Ride, Peaer, Wendy Eisenberg, Kissy Noises, Premium Chunk and friends, Bad Bad Hats, Smut, and The Black Keys Record Hang. The project moves comfortably between songcraft and noise-edged guitar music. Onstage, the performances favor clarity over spectacle.
