Robert Kimbrough Band: Jazz Ensemble in New York

About Robert Kimbrough Band

The Robert Kimbrough Band is a New York City–based jazz group heard in club settings where the room shapes the music as much as the set list. At Terra Blues, the band works within the traditions of small-ensemble jazz, leaning on tight interplay, blues-inflected phrasing, and space for individual voices. Their approach favors groove and clarity over spectacle. The project is built for live performance, with arrangements that leave enough margin for improvisation and real-time conversation.
