prat.: Dancer in New York

About prat.

prat. is a New York City–based performer working across dance and indie-leaning rock/pop, shaped in part by Edinburgh’s late-1970s punk orbit. In local club settings like Berlin and Mercury Lounge, their sets tend to move quickly, built for mixed bills and tight handoffs between artists. They have shared lineups with Headcase, Nicole Caracost, Rumari, dilhaar, advik, and Devika, crossing hardcore-tinged movement and guitar-rooted songwriting. The work favors direct rhythm and clean transitions over spectacle.
