Phil Collins: Singer-Songwriter in New York

About Phil Collins

Phil Collins is an English singer, drummer, songwriter, and producer whose career moves from the drum kit to the front of the stage. He became the voice of Genesis and, in the 1980s, built a parallel solo catalogue that placed multiple singles at the top of UK and US charts while shaping the era’s soft‑rock sound. In New York, his work is revisited at Westbury Music Fair through *The Phil Collins Story*, a performance framed around his band and solo years. His writing favors direct hooks and clean rhythmic architecture over spectacle.
