Parachute: Rock Band in New York

About Parachute

Parachute is a pop-rock band that started in Charlottesville in 2006 and moved into a major-label phase with releases beginning in 2009. Their catalog traces a steady arc from early radio-minded songwriting through later independent work, including a self-titled album in 2019. In New York City they have appeared at Racket NYC, including a set marking the 15-year anniversary of The Way It Was, with support from local rock-pop group little luna. Their performances favor clean hooks and direct arrangements over studio gloss.
