About NJMEA All-State Mixed Chorus
The NJMEA All-State Mixed Chorus is an auditioned ensemble drawn from advanced high school singers across New Jersey, assembled each season for intensive rehearsals and a culminating concert. In the region’s performance circuit, the group appears at NJPAC, a frequent stop for audiences traveling from New York City and nearby boroughs. They have shared programs with the NJMEA All-State Orchestra in events billed as “NJMEA All-State Mixed Chorus and Orchestra.” Their work tends to favor blend, diction, and ensemble precision over display.
