Nicoletta Manzini Quintet: Jazz Ensemble in New York

About Nicoletta Manzini Quintet

Nicoletta Manzini Quintet is a working-band configuration led by saxophonist Nicoletta Manzini, heard regularly on New York City bandstands. The group appears at Smalls Jazz Club under the quintet billing, extending a format more often associated with her quartet presentations. Manzini’s performances favor clarity over spectacle, with close listening and a steady sense of time guiding the ensemble. The quintet setting opens more space for counterlines and sectional interplay while keeping the focus on tone and group dialogue.
