Michael Younker is a New York City–based performer whose work moves between garage rock roots and open-ended, free-form structures. At Cassette, he has appeared in KARAOKE NIGHT, where familiar song frameworks are treated as flexible material for improvisation, shifting between electronic detail and raw texture. He has collaborated and shared bills with Carlos Truly, Dhemo, Key Hutch, Miles Hewitt, Andy Nicholl, Drawl, Slow Down Sunny, and Untitled Freak. His sets favor pacing and room awareness over fixed arrangements.
