Mary Beth's New Joke Night: Comedian in New York

About Mary Beth's New Joke Night

Mary Beth’s New Joke Night is a New York City comedy fixture built around the discipline of testing new material in public. The series is closely associated with Union Hall, where its late show edition has been a recurring context for work-in-progress sets and quick pivots based on the room. The format foregrounds process over polish, treating the stage as a workshop rather than a finished product. The comedy favors economy and timing, with attention on the mechanics of the joke.
