Loren: Performing Artist in New York

About Loren

Loren is an electronic artist and DJ heard in New York City club lineups, including sets at Signal. Their work moves between vocal-led material, known to some audiences through the track “Never Enough,” and patient, atmosphere-driven electronics informed by study in ambient composition and Balinese gamelan traditions. In bills alongside Satoshi Tomiie, britty., Shaun Reeves, Stretch, Avenue F, and Navid navbox, Loren tends to treat the booth like an arranging desk, building structure through phrasing and low-end restraint. The performances favor clarity over spectacle.
