Looms: Performing Group in New York

About Looms

Looms is an electronic group heard in New York City rooms like Sleepwalk, where they’ve appeared on bills alongside Mars Motel, Imperial Motors, PTEROSAURRR, Fixations, Marjorine, and Lather. Their recorded footprint is still small, with an emerging Spotify profile and a following around 1K, but the live calendar places them in the city’s cross‑genre circuit. The music leans on rhythm and texture over traditional song form, with elements that also surface in folk‑punk and anti‑folk tags. Their performances favor structure over spectacle.
