Lomelda: Folk Musician in New York

About Lomelda

Lomelda is the performance name of musician Hannah Read, who works in the rock and pop register with an emphasis on songwriting. She has described the name as an invented word, chosen more for its sound and image than for literal meaning. In New York City she has appeared at Elsewhere, including bills with Friendship and Lily Talmers. Onstage, her sets favor directness and careful dynamics over spectacle.
