Lia Kohl is an electronic and electroacoustic artist whose work moves between ambient drift, drone, and experimental jazz. In New York City she has appeared at Public Records, including the Long Play program alongside Colleen, Felicia Atkinson, Christina Vantzou, Whitney Johnson, and the Macie Stewart Trio. Her collaborations also include Dirty Projectors. Kohl’s performances favor clarity over spectacle, building patient structures from texture, resonance, and small shifts in tone.
