About Leprous

Leprous is a Norwegian progressive metal group founded in 2001 by vocalist and keyboardist Einar Solberg alongside guitarist Tor Oddmund Suhrke. After a period of shifting lineups and early demos, the band established its recorded identity with the debut album *Tall Poppy Syndrome* (2009), then broadened its profile with *Bilateral* (2011). Their work as Ihsahn’s touring band, and his later guest and production contributions, helped situate them within a wider progressive-metal network. In performance, including at New York City’s SummerStage, they favor precision and structural detail over spectacle.
