About Kevin Saunderson

Kevin Saunderson is an American DJ and producer whose work helped shape the early language of techno. Born in New York and raised from childhood in the Detroit area, he formed lasting ties at Belleville High School with Juan Atkins and Derrick May, later identified as the Belleville Three. His sets draw on the Detroit lineage while staying attentive to the mechanics of the dance floor. At Paragon in NYC, he tends to favor structure and momentum over spectacle.
